i love the top piece because you really pushed the darks this time :) i think the bottom piece still needs a little bit of work with more contrast, and maybe make the background at the top darker instead of lighter. i love the detail on the left eye in the top piece. even though all your pieces have been drawings with graphite, you definitely have shown some growth.
I'm guessing the top one is tanning and the bottom one is gambling. I really like how you expressed the movement with the dice, but like monica it needs a little more contrast with lights and darks. The eyes are good too, but i feel like the eye to the left doesn't have the same texture of shading/blending as in the right one. so maybe try to make one more like the other, or not.
