just kidding! but i actually do think really unique art forms are so much more interesting than what people expect to see when they think of "art." i would get really frustrated if i was a sand artist or latte artist or ice sculptor or something because my work would disappear so quickly, but it still seems really appealing to me! i also really like pieces with found objects. or like that one guy that we saw one of his works on the art field trip who recycled items that he found and layered them onto his canvas... very cool.
the pencil one reminds me of any goldsworthy, he does one with sticks.
ReplyDeletehis stuff is really neat too if you havn't seen it already, he works with stuff in nature. he will make sculptures of rocks and ice and leaves and everything, he's so patient its amazing. you should watch his movie, i can't think of what its called, i want to say rivers and tides, but i don't think so. but i'ts really neat and reminds me of this
