this will represent dependence on drugs/medication. i am thinking of putting a layer of clear encaustic wax over the top and then maybe carving in words of different things you can depend on from my other pieces... but i am not sure.
i did this painting/drawing in my sketchbook one time and i thought it was pretty cool, so i am doing it again a little bigger and better, paying more attention to detail. this is the original one i did with sharpie:
and this is what i have done so far. it is kinda light in the picture, but it will be darker.
i like the pills, they look really good, and i as you know, the church one needs to be darker :]
ReplyDeleteYeah, I agree with Cara. I think you should keep working on the church piece. And maybe add some shadows behind the pills to give them some sense of placement. What you have so far is great :)
